EDUCATION
PG Academy is the educational platform of Aloha 1st Athletics. It provides schools, churches, and community organizations with curriculum and programs that teach leadership, mentorship, identity, and life skills.
Currently being piloted at Honouliuli Middle School, PG Academy focuses on students who need guidance, motivation, and direction. Many of these youth carry the invisible weight of childhood trauma, which impacts their behavior, academics, and relationships. PG Academy addresses these realities by equipping students with the tools to heal, grow, and thrive.

WHY IT MATTERS
Schools and communities across Hawai‘i are facing the same challenge: too many kids are struggling with motivation, behavior, identity, and purpose. Behind the classroom disruptions or lack of engagement often lies something deeper childhood trauma, family instability, or the pressures of growing up without clear guidance.
PG Academy matters because it steps into that gap. It provides students with more than academics it gives them the tools to understand who they are, how to make good decisions, and how to lead themselves and others. When kids are supported with mentorship, leadership training, and trauma-informed care, they don’t just behave better in school they thrive in life.
PG Academy is the bridge that connects education, mentorship, and community, creating stronger students, healthier families, and future leaders for Hawai‘i.
